| Lindy Longhurst Lindy is an artist/illustrator based in NSW, Australia. Originally with a background in Landscape Architecture she has been creating her works since 1999 and been working full time as an artist since 2005. Lindy draws her inspiration from a strong connection to the earth - to the natural elements, and an exploration into the conscious and subconscious worlds - via dreams and meditation. Her whimsical, magical works can be found in private collections all over the world. Her art is collected by those in the healing professions, by children and by the young at heart. She has exhibited in Europe and Australia and has been published in magazines within Australia and the USA. Recently 44 of her images were published in an oracle/affirmation deck written by Alana Fairchild and published by Blue Angel Publishing. The deck, titled "Wings of Wisdom", is available in Australia and internationally. Current projects include working on her second picture book titled "Emily and The Very Big Feeling', written by Celeste Cannell and published by Empowering Resources. Lindy sells her work online and can be found at weekly markets on the Mid North Coast of NSW. |
